Father’s Day is a significant day for me in numerous ways, God positioned some amazing role models in my life that replaced my father when he was unable to be there for me during my childhood days. The Lord has blessed me with uncles that stood by myside when I was a little girl. I was always treated with kindness and respect whenever I was in their present.
As a teenager my dad showed me love the best way he could have and always initiated his point of duty to tell me he loves me every chance he got. He is a gentle soul who wanted the best for his children and he did that by assuring that we immigrated to Canada for a better life. I am truly grateful to my father for the choice he made in sponsoring us.
I have two amazing brothers and I know that they are my secret body guards. All there is for me to do, is to live my life to the fullest and be all that I desire to be.
My amazing husband is the perfect example of what a father should be, he loves and care for his children and always ensure that his family needs are met.
I truly appreciate all these father figures I had in my life growing up and those who continue to hold that position. They helped to mold me into the woman I am today. Because of them, I know my worth and I am able to remain true to who I am and influence other women in ways unspeakable because of their influence.
Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and this is an inspirational poem to help influence you throughout your journey of fatherhood.
A GOOD FATHER!
A good father loves his children
A good father protects his children
A good sustains his children
A good father fights for his children
A good father boasts about his children
A good father teaches his children
A good father provides for his children
A good father never leaves nor forsakes his children
A good father stands up for the rights of his children
A good father never disrespects his children
All these beautiful qualities I see in God.
He is a good, good Father.
It is my prayer that the earthly father’s will imitate
our Heavenly Father and all His amazing qualities.
No matter what struggle you are facing, choose to be a good, good father.
Happy Father’s Day!
